Birding Tours at Cape May, NJ

Birdwatchers and photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to join me as we spot the interesting birds over the course of this 4-hour walking trip where we will explore the beaches and trails of the crown gem of the birding world in the northeastern United States, Cape May New Jersey.

During the spring & autumn months, we’ll be on the lookout for all kinds of migrating bird species such as Warblers and raptors. We will also be on the lookout for Vireos and other songbirds as well as Herons, Egrets, shorebirds, gulls and waterfowl.

When winter arrives we will be looking for wintering waterfowl, Snow Buntings and shorebirds.

Viewing Recommendations: A zoom/telephoto lens (200 mm or more), spotting scope or binoculars are recommended for this trip.

Physical Difficulty: Easy walking on wooded, grassy and sandy beach paths 3-5 miles possible.

Lodging: NOT included, there are multiple lodging accommodations available nearby in the town of Cape May.

Transportation: NOT included, during duration of the tour.
